Warm Welcome from the ISOCARP General Rapporteur, Hendricus Andy Simarmata

Representing the NCC Congress Team, we cordially invite you to come, share, and learn about planning new regenerative cities at the 60th World Planning Congress and 1st International Conference for New Cities in New Clark City! As in Toffler’s third wave generation (post-industrial society), we witness various new cities emerge to capture the fast and high economic growth and offer better livelihoods and urban lifestyles for the society. However, cities face a triple planetary crisis and must continuously adapt to digital transformation. Both force us to think of a new regenerative urban development. How do we develop our cities now and in the future? What are the differences between Ebenezer Howard’s Garden City in the early 19s and now in the 21st century? How can we improve the planning process using AI without ignoring meaningful public participation that is continuously evolving? How should cities drive the citizens to healthier living and well-being? Sure, there will be more questions and discussions then.

Send your papers or create a session and join us in New Clark City! Let us enrich our discussion and contribution to the society. See you in September!
